US ,continues its lead on Facebook with the country contributing to around 25% users across the globe. So if you are catering to the US market, every 26 users out of 100 users would be " seen lurking around in Facebook. Indonesia , UK and Turkey form the next 3 nations with the highest Facebook users
UK with 28,668,200 contribute 5% of the global users, and is ranked 3rd , a difference of 20% from the US users in terms of global contribution .Most people would not be aware about Indonesia growing so rapidly.Indonesia currently contributes 5.6% in terms of global Facebook users with 32,125,662 Facebook users.
Iceland, Brazil and Nicaragua are among the fastest growing Countries in terms of Facebook users.India is currently 9th with 17,288,300 users which contribute about 3% of the global Facebook users, That might change by 2015 when India would be the " most connected" nation in Asia.

Hello? Have you heard of Australia? Population over 20 million. I'd have to say, on a personal level, about 90% of the people I know in the 15 - 40 age bracket have a Facebook account.
