Online Sports Consumption in Australia by Region

In February 2011, 219 million minutes were spent consuming Sports content online in Australia. When looking at how this breaks down by geography, we see that New South Wales, home to Sydney, accounted for the largest share of minutes spent at the Sports category at 28.9%. Victoria, home to Melbourne, closely followed accounting for 28.1% of minutes. Queensland accounted for the third largest share at 16.3% of time spent on Sports sites.
