Forrester Forecasts
that 2012 will see, spend on mobile paid advertising and search surpasses email
and social and will rocket at a38% CAGR to $8.2 billion by 2016
Forrester also predicts that Tablets — along with their expensive ad
units — will become mainstream. 2012 will see tablets contribute to mobile
marketing investment due to their rapid adoption, and using innovative — and expensive — ad formats which they enable.16 For example,Livestand, Yahoo’s

Search willcontinue as the largest
piece of the interactive marketing pie, growing to more than $33 billionover
the next five years according to Forrester Research data
However search marketing spends is expected to decline
from 55% today to 44% of allinteractive spend in 2016 as marketers refocus
their search marketing strategies on “getting found”by users through any medium —
not just search engines
