Apple's iPhone hit the "Samsung" wall as sales declines 8%, as Samsung Wall,declines

Worldwide tablet shipments totaled 27.8 million units in the third quarter of 2012 (3Q12), according to preliminary data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Tablet Tracker. The tablet market grew 49.5% year over year in 3Q12 and 6.7% over the second quarter of 2012. Android shipments, powered by  Samsung's the best ever" Smartphone sales in Q3,2012


Apple  declined its  Smartphone Marketshare by 8% from 59%  in 2011 to 51% as it continues to lead the market  by a large margin from sales of Kindle and Galaxy 3

With a 50% marketshare the iPhone  continues to rank number 1 with 14 million shipments in Q3,2012, which is less than 11.1 million .

Most notable was the impressive quarter turned out by Samsung—driven by its ever-growing portfolio of tablets. Samsung shipped 5.1 million tablets worldwide in 3Q2012  and increased its marketshare by  up 115.0%  as it recorded the fastest growth  notching up 5.1million from 1.2 million last year



Android Market   is yet to face  a serious challenge : as it grew 50% from 2011Q3, powered by Samsung and Kindle.
