Coca Cola starts online home delivery service in India | EtailingIndia: "Coca-Cola India has ventured into the e-commerce industry by launching its own online store that will provide home delivery for all its products. This move is the first of its kind made by an FMCG company. The Coke2Home.com has been launched by Hindustan Coca-Cola which is the bottling entity of the Atlanta-based beverage giant. This website went live recently and is currently being tested in the Ahmedabad region. The company is also planning on using this service in other cities as well. The users will have to place orders by entering their phone numbers on the site after which they will be contacted by the company through phone calls or SMS notifications.


The newly launched website also gives the facility to place bulk orders or monthly supplies of Coca-Cola products for businesses. Apart from Coca-Cola, the other soft drink brands like Diet Coke, Limca, Sprite and Thumbs Up which are still running on a trial basis. Coke guarantees that the orders will be delivered to the customers on the same day with payment options like Cash on Delivery (COD). In order to get delivery before 12pm, the consumers need to place a minimum order of Rs. 300."
