eBook Readership Led by India, US and UK

India US and UK among fastest growing eBook Market

Recent data from DigitaReader shows Russia having higher ereader adoption rates with 70% of readers having tried ebooks. 

 That’s much higher than the 23% of Americans who had read an ebook (according to Pew Research Center in December 2012). It’s even higher than the data from Scholastic which shows that 46% of kids in the US had read an ebook.

Meanwhile to Bowker Market Research’s Global eBook Monitor shows , India, U.K. and the U.S. are leading the world in e-book adoption rates, The study tracks consumer attitudes to and purchasing of e-books in major world markets.
