UK Ecommerce growing by 11% to $138billion ,digital to form 44% of Retail Spends

British Consumers there will spend $138 billion online this year, according to a  report from BCG (Boston Consulting Group).

E-commerce in the United Kingdom will increase approximately 11.5% this year, to 87 billion pounds ($138.0 billion) from 78 billion pounds ($123.7 billion) last year, ( 2012)  According to Capgemini and U.K. e-retail association.

Meanwhile  WPP’s  media buying arm,GroupM  estimates that The UK ad market will be worth £13.9bn this year, with digital advertising accounting for 44.2%, or £6.2bn, according to GroupM
Digital will make up almost 50% of total UK ad spend in 2014, Group M is forecasting, reaching £7bn.

The Online Shopping and internet economy in UK is projected to expand at 11% for the next 4 years,  By  2016 and digital  commerce is expected to exceed 25% ( one out of every 4 retail purchase will be online) ( Boston Consulting Group)
