Windows Phone 7 Timeline and Evolution
Latest Figures suggest that four percent of Windows Phone 7 users are running Mango on their devices. The split, as shown in the infographic shows one percent are running thre Beta 2 and the remaining three percent are running the first beta version of the software. According to the Dude, where's my update application, the majority of users are running Windows Phone 7 NoDo, even though a bug fixing update was issued in May.The most popular phone running Windows Phone 7 is the Samsung Focus, a US-only device. The second most popular handset running Windows Phone 7 is the HTC HD7.
Camera + App Road To 3 Million Downloads :
This infographic is from taptap and shows the milestone of the 3 million download with their popular Camera+ app, which has brought in revenues of $2.7 million. In keeping with their habit of sharing a glimpse into what goes into that success, the developers have released an infographic visualizing stats such as daily revenue, photos taken by Camera+ users based on location, and the peak times for sharing photos using the app.

Mobile App Usage: Android vs iOS

In further evidence that Wired‘s proclamation last year that “The Web is Dead” may be on the mark, a Nielsen study shows that mobile apps trump the mobile web — at least when it comes to the amount of time spent using them.
The study, from Nielsen Smartphone Analytics, found that the average Android user spends 56 minutes per day using his or her device to surf the web and use apps. But the latter takes up two-thirds of that time.
The report also found that most people are only using a handful of apps on a regular basis. The top 10 apps account for 43% of all the time Android users spend on mobile apps. The top 50 apps account for 61% of all time spent. There are a total of about 250,000 Android apps in the market at this time.
Android and iOS, both simply have gotten too large to be “killed” by anything. Now, there are some pretty strong feelings shared amongst Android and iOS users The Mobile OS platform is one of the most Brutal one in the Tech industry that depends upon product innovation, Distribution, Technology and larger Marketing and Advertising Budgets this just brand or team loyalty, though, or is this really just a fundamental difference in personalities? A recent infographic suggests that Android users might be different from iPhone users in way more ways than just their choice of smartphone.

In May 2011, Google Sites became the first web property to surpass 1 billion unique visitors globally. In the past year, Google Sites has seen its audience grow 8% to eclipse the 1 billion threshold. Microsoft Sites was the second largest global web property in May reaching more than 905 million visitors, followed by Facebook.com with 713.6 million visitors
