Revenue from Online Streaming Music to grow 77% to 108 million Euros

Revenue from music streaming in Germany from 2008 to 2014. In 2012, streaming subscription services and music streaming platforms generated a revenue of 29 million euros. In 2013  this was 61million euros, a growth of 11%. In 2014 ,online music streaming is expected to earn revenue of 108 million euros, which is a growth of 77%

The UK is Europe's biggest market in terms of Mobile Ad Spending   and is likely to remain so for a long time  with The UK  is expected to account for 52.5% of mobile internet ad spending in the region in 2013.. .Germany, France, Italy Netherlands make  up for the top 5  fastest growing mobile / web advertising market

The UK  remains  the biggest and the the largest mobile advertising market in Western Europe,  and  account for nearly 53% of mobile internet ad spending in the region this year( emarketer)

. The second and third rank in  in terms of mobile  Ad market is France and Germany which represent  represent 12% and 6.8%, respectively, of the $2.92 billion mobile  total  spend total. 

Yet those shares are beginning to add up to serious money, with $349 million projected for Germany and nearly $200 million forecast for France in 2013. Within five years, mobile ad spending is expected to reach $1.8 billion in Germany and $792 million in France. .

  1. The US ecommerce market grew  sales grew 14.5% from $262.34 billion  to $300.64billion .
  2.  In comparison the Chinese " growth in the ecommerce in 2014  was an astonishing 76% higher than  the last year ..From $141.64billion to 249.38billlion
  3. UK ecommerce showed a 13% growth this year with online sales touching $77.84 billion  compared to $68.88billion in 2013
  4. Japan ecommerce growth showed an 8% growth this year as compared to last year with online sales  of $76.95 billion  as compared to $70.75billion in 2013 
  5. Germany online retail sales this year totaled  $47billion a 9% growth compared with last year at $42.6billion.
  6. France online retail sales grew by 12%  and expected to total around $36.38billion this year
  7. Canada recorded  a healthy 17% Increase in its online retail   to $21.61billion  in 2013 compared to $18.36billion it recorded in 2012
  8. Online Retail sales in Australia is expected to grow to $20.23billion  this year,a 6 percentage higher than $`19.16billion which it recorded  in 2013

Travel Mobile Commerce in Germany grows 40%, led by 300% increase in women shoppers

Travel m-Commerce in Germany on the Rise led by  increase in Smartphones and Tablet adoption Germany has seen its eCommerce market grow bigger every passing year . Among the sectors which Internet has impacted the most has been the " Online /Mobile Travel Market" 

Now this" segment is getting even bigger with smartphones and Tablets driving mobile commerce specifically for " the Travel  industryNearly 700.000 Germans bought an airline ticket or hotel accommodation via their mobile phone in March 2014, a Year-on-Year increase of 39%. 
While hotel bookings and flight ticket purchases have seen similar growth levels overall, a closer look at comScore MobiLens data reveals that women are contributing stronger to this development than men. In comparison to the previous year, more than three times as many German women booked their hotels through a mobile phone, while the number of males who did so slightly decreased (-7%).

India and Nigeria records fastest growth in INTERNET usage,with 14% and 16% one year growth

According to the latest Internet usage across the world data from internetlive( source). The world will see billion online users by end of 2014

Around 40% of the world population has an Internet connection today (view all on a page ). In 1995, it was less than 1%.

The first billion was reached in 2005. The second billion in 2010. The third billion will be reached by the end of 2014. The number of internet users has increased tenfold from 1999 to 2013.

Among the top 10 nations which highest number of  online users . India and Nigeria has recorded the biggest growth in  the last one year with 14% and 16% respectively.

 In terms of web penetration , among the top 10 list, UK,US, ranks 1st  and 2nd, while  Japan and Germany shared the  3rd spot   with 86% penetration

Zalando Has Grown 40 Percent in Germany Over The Past Two Years

As the Holiday season appoaches, Comscore published  the " top 10 Ecommerce Markets along with the top Online Reytail property. In Germany  Zalando with a  40% growth Over The Past Two Years:  calimed the number one spot 

"There were 48.6 million Germans who visited a retail site in September 2013 via PC or laptop, that’s 84 percent of the total internet population.

 Among the top 5 Online Retail Sites are 1) and Amazon

According to Comscore  Germany,  Zalando was the fastest growing property in this ranking. Their online audience has increased by 40 percent from 5.2 million unique visitors in September 2011 to 7.3 million in September this year.

Amazon remains the clear leader in the retail space, growing by 13 percent over the two years to 31.6 million users during September, followed by Otto in second position with 12.7 million and a growth rate of 12 percent. Idealo has seen a 26 percent surge in audience size in Germany over the years, making it the second fastest growing site in this ranking."
