2 years ago when Google Bought Motorola Mobile , not many were enthused by this idea, as Google neither had the " technical Acumen" when it came to the hardware part of the ecosystem It's still tough to think of Google as a hardware company.

The latest version Nexus 7 2 (2013) has a lot of addition with a better screen, faster processor, wireless charging,
 But in the last year and change, Google has slowly and steadily launched amidst little hype and hoopla and has allowed their product to do the talking, as It rolled out some excellent gadgets like 1)Nexus 4 smartphone 2)The Chromebook Pixel laptop and 3)The Chromecast video streaming dongle for your TV.

Apple's 2012,Q2 Numbers Vs Competitors


One day before Apple Q2,  2012 Earnings , Businesssinsider projects its own take on Apple 's Earning Call 

The Above chart  shows how charts to run in advance of earnings. It's a look at how Apple always beats its earnings guidance, quarter after quarter. On average, revenue is 19% above its guidance. EPS is 43% above guidance. 

Therefore, we anticipate Apple will report revenue of $40.37 billion and EPS of $12.41. Wall Street analysts are expecting $37.23 billion in revenue and EPS of $10.35. 

In Q1,2012,  a chart showing the  breakdown of Apple's sales by product category shows that its an iPhone company now, with 53% of sales coming from the smartphone.

250million iPhones sold in 5 Years , 50% Sold in last 18 Months


n less than 5 years, the iPhone has become Apple’s most important product: in the 2011 fiscal year, iPhone revenue amounted to 47 billion U.S. dollars, representing more than 40 percent of Apple's total revenue. In the third quarter of 2011, 15 percent of all smartphones sold to end users were phones with the iOS operating system

Apple Has Shipped 250 Million iPhones In The Past Five Years - Business Insider: "Apple has shipped 250 million iPhones worldwide since the product launched back in 2007, according to new data from Strategy Analytics, a global research firm.

While the first five years have been good for the iPhone, Strategy Analytics suggests the next five could prove to be more challenging as carriers rethink the cost of subsidizing the phone and Apple faces greater competition from companies like Samsung."

 Apple is looking to expand into new markets abroad, perhaps most notably by partnering with China Mobile, a wireless carrier with more than 650 million subscribers. And Apple is expanding into new markets at home by finally making the iPhone available on the prepaid market.

In terms of  contribution to American Economy In the five years since the iPhone launched, Apple created a total of 35,852 retail jobs.Some of those jobs came from new store openings. The total store count went from 172 to 361, more than doubling. But the growth in employment was faster: from about 6400 to 42,200, more than quintupling. This is reflected in the total number of employees per store which increased from 37 in Q1 2007 to 117 in Q1 2012.

Facebook Phone : How Close we are to To Reality




What is See Above is "Supposedly "A Facebook Phone" :  Is this a reality of just a pipe dream .To a recently conducted surveryOne-third of people 'would upgrade' to a Facebook phone - is Zuckerberg's latest project a serious rival to iPhone?

The news of the phone emerged  in June this year, with sources claiming that Facebook had hired ex-Apple engineers to work on an ‘official’ Facebook phone. According to  the Daily Mail this is not the  first Facebook phone to hit the market – the social network giant has previously partnered with INQ and HTC to produce Facebook-oriented handsets, including phones with a  built-in ‘Like’ button.
