This  chart from statista  shows the operating revenue made from wireless services offered by major U.S. telecommunication providers from 2008 to 2013. In 2011, AT&T's wireless operating revenue amounted to around 63.21 billion U.S. dollars

The Wireless Subscription Growth Story in US :2000 onwards

 There were 34.5 wireless subscribers per 100 population in 2000.

" From a 35% mobile wireles subscribers in 2000 to 86% wireless subscribers in 2008, which is almost a  3 times growth in 8 years, annualised growth of  35% on the avereage The top 5 wireless telecommunications facilities-based service providers by subscriber count in the United States are: 

  1. Verizon Wireless: 125.3 million (2014 Q3)
  2. AT&T Mobility: 120.6 million (2014 Q4)
  3. Sprint Corporation: 55.93 million (2014 Q4)
  4.  T-Mobile US: 55.02 million (2014 Q4)
  5.  U.S. Cellular: 4.7 million (2014 Q3)[2]
