Android users account for 56% mobile ad impressions in Millennial Media Platform

According to the latest  Mobile Media  Advertising Mix, out of 73% smartphone users where M Media reached , 56% mobile ad impressions were across Android users, and 37% were from iOS consumers. Impressions  across non phone connected device (( tablets, consoles,)  was  23% ( 3% rise  increase as compared to last year

Ad impressions across iOS OS increased by 3% ( 34% to 37% ) during last FY, while Android  users saw  4% increase in impressions served across their mobile device (  from 52% to 56%)

In UK Internet Video Advertising to replace Print, as the no 1 paid medium by 2018 with 24% CAGR, growth

By 2018 internet advertising in UK, will be the largest advertising segment, with internet video advertising the fasting growing sub sector at 23.9% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), followed by mobile (17.1%).  This is based on a recent PWC   UK report

The UK is the largest internet advertising market in Europe, London is widely seen as the digital advertising capital of Europe given its use of the English Language and is the third largest territory in the world (after the US and China).

A cording to PWC Global Entertainment & Media Outlook predicts that Digital out of home advertising will overtake physical out of home advertising in 2014 and the UK will overtake the total French out of home market in 2015. Responding to consumers continued migration to mobile, mobile advertising will overtake display internet advertising this year to.ket in 2011

Internet and Mobile to be the biggest Media channels in UK for 2018

UK advertising Industry will grow 4% annually over the next 5 years to be worth £19.8bn by 2018.
According to PWC , Online Video and Mobile  would be the key drivers  as  as  digital and mobile goes mainstream and becomes the no 1 media distribution channel. The last 3 years has seen Internet penetration in UK reach its peak....almost The penetration of UK users  however will marginally increases from 77% to 78% , which means that " UK online market has matured and above this point, no growth is expected ..

Consumer  Goods brands have traditionally been big spenders on TV and Print.. However that start changing from  2011 onwards, when CPG brands started moving online.. and very soon  Procter Gamble, Unilever, Colgate, General Mills  started to see amazing results as they started reaching consumers at a fraction of the cost what  they did earlier.. With Mobile web  Procter and Ganble could have access to consumers via video.. which could be played " with amazing clarity and faster"

Using impressions rather than clicks to measure digital campaigns was far more predictive of real-world results and increased the estimated ROI of Facebook advertising by as much as 75%, according to Ross Link, Nielsen's president of global marketing return on investment solutions. 

L'Oreal, the world's third-biggest ad spender behind P&G and Unilever,  is set to increase their digital budgets upwards from  12% . Last year 20% Loreal sales came from onlineGeneral Mills has almost doubled their digital marketing budgets from 8% in 2008 to 17% in 2008 Currently 79% of their ad dollars are spent on TV.

Digital acounts for 25% Global Advertising Spends,set to exceed 1$137.53

Digital Ad Spending accounts for 25% Global Spends on Media,  Internet Advertising  Worldwide to Hit $137.53 Billion in 2014  according to eMarketer: 

Digital and Online spending  including search and display  across cross platform devices  including desktop and laptop computers, mobile phones and tablets will reach $137.53 billion this year, according to eMarketer’s latest estimates of worldwide paid media spending."

Nearly two in five digital ad dollars, which is 40% Internet advertising revenue  this year will come from advertisers in North America, compared with 28.6% in Asia-Pacific—where share is actually dropping slightly. Western Europe accounts for nearly one-quarter of all digital spending around the world, and other regions make up just a small share

US Digital and Mobile Ad Spends for form 25% Media Spends

Total spending on US paid media reached $171.01 billion in 2013. eMarketer expects total media ad expenditure to rise 3.6% this year and maintain annual growth between 3.1% and 4.1% through 2017. This year is set to see investments in digital advertising and mobile devices, will total $42.26 billion this year, or nearly one-quarter of all ad dollars

The Airbnb Juggernaut rolls on with  newer travel destinations being added  and a with an ever increasing consumers flocking to  the website  Airbnb reticently conducted a research to  find out which global destinations were trending, they looked at year-to-year growth in the number of reservations made per listing. They only considered destinations with at least 100 listings and 10 reservations per month from 2012 to 2013.

Geo Local Mobile Adspends to grow 600% ,to $10.7 billion,to account for 50% Mobile Ad Spends

Location targeted mobile advertising will account for more than half of overall U.S. mobile ad spending in 2017

Local Mobile Ad Spends Format : Marketers will spend the most on Mobile Search, Mobile display ads,SMS and Mobile Video.

Meanwhile Location  targeted Mobile Advertising will be the fastest-growing channel in the local advertising media market through 2017, rising from just 1.7% share of local ad revenues this year to 7.1% share in 2017. This is based on the research conducted by  BIA/Kelsey

A recent report by Econsultancy, in association with Responsys, shows that  in UK  on average 35% of their total marketing budgets on digital with a revenue contribution from digital at 34%  The survey – of respondents primarily from the UK (46%) and other European countries (19%) – finds that 56% are spending less than 30% of their budgets on digital channels, while 32% are devoting more than half of their budgets to these channels. 

According to the study, 71% of companies plan to increase their digital marketing budgets by an average of 28%, compared to only 20% who expect to raise their traditional marketing budgets, by an average of 26%

Notably, though, despite multiple signs that the budget mix increasingly favors digital  the overall average of 35% of budgets allocated to digital actually represents a slight drop from 36% last year.

The 1980s was a watershed year for Apple , as Computers slowly started being used by enterprises and this was " an era in which Steve Jobs" showmanship  came into action , as  the Apple ads were all approved by 
These ads were text-heavy and light on images, as were many computer and technology ads from that era.
Apple ads really came into their heyday during the 1990s, with the “Think Different” campaign, which became very popular as they featured a number of famous people.

Advertising spending on paid digital media by the US healthcare and pharmaceutical industry will hit $1.18 billion in 2013 and rise to $1.47 billion by 2017. 

However continued privacy concerns, regulatory and uncertainty around prescription medicines and patent expirations for blockbuster drugs will continue to put a damper on pharmaceutical-related investments.

eMarketer estimates 46% Healthcare marketers will increased their ad dollars online and Mobile  in building branding-focused campaigns. Search and display will command the largest chunks of digital spending, with growth expected in the areas of mobile, local, video and native advertising.
