The DoubleClick Benchmarks Report is a free report of industry benchmarks that helps advertisers, agencies, and publishers evaluate the performance of online display advertising campaigns
  • Low CTRs are observed across industries. DoubleClick DART for Advertisers data show that low CTRs, ranging from an average 0.06% to 0.15%, occur in nearly every industry, including retail, telecommunications, CPG, auto and financial services (See Chart 1 in Appendix).
  • The majority of clicks come from a small percentage of the total population. A comScore study found that heavy and moderate clickers only represent a combined 8% of the U.S. Internet population, yet they account for about 85% of all click-throughs
  • Low CTRs are a global phenomenon. DoubleClick DART for Advertisers data show that low CTRs are not only observed in the U.S. In fact, this is a phenomenon seen across the globe
