Top 10 Personal care brand ranked by Moms

Based on research by YouGov, personal care brands were the best perceived by mothers, with Dove and Johnson & Johnson taking the top two spots, respectively. A December 2013 study conducted by BabyCenter asked US female internet users ages 18 to 44 who were expectant or had children younger than 9 years old about the characteristics most important in a brand.

Local Media Ad revenues to touch$158.6 billion in 2018, Digital to rise 33%

In its newly released U.S. Local Media Forecast (2013-2018), BIA/Kelsey forecasts local media advertising revenues to climb from $133.2 billion in 2013 to $158.6 billion in 2018, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.6 percent.

Digital media continues to increase its share of total local media revenues, growing from $31.7 billion (23 percent) in 2014 to $52.7 billion (33.2 percent) in 2018. The forecast reports that revenue from traditional media, in aggregate, to slightly increase from $105.3 billion in 2013 to $105.9 billion in 2018 (CAGR: 0.1 percent). .

 So how do you reinvent the " Digital PR Role in Your Organization .

1)Monitor Google Trends: Any event which you wish to publish, broadcast or decimate needs to go online within 24 hours...  This  happens once the volume of searches are big enough ' to propel your brand  within the first  news searches

2) Use Social Tools To Track: Among many  websites which can track your Presence across the social PR landscape ..Social Mention  is what i use personally  This tool  analyses what consumers are saying about your  brand , bundles them under positive and negative sentiments, gives you the sources from where you are getting your maximum buzz  and helps you the get a holistic view of your brand

3)Use Twitter to Engage and not simply dissemate : Your  Twitter account should be doing much more than merely "manufacturing  drab stories" day after day , week after week. It should be a tool for constant engagement, for example , Video of your CEO explaining a new corporate development, feature your " HR Head on how ' They have launched a new initiative for new trainees ,

4) Use Social, Local and Mobile :  Your Company  has just launched a new product .. and have been getting rave reviews about it ...    can you create a social app, which can be shared across the web,  start a promoted tweet activity  " asking users to share using # Hastags ( with your Brand name ),

5) Incentivize  your "digital PR Channels : What about creating Mobile App... where users can  read the Testimonials or  interact with a video ..or create an app where  users  buying online "via  the website or mobile app are entitled  for a  15% discount for the first 100 online bookings

TACO Bell New Mobile App to use GPS to track its customers real time

TACO BELL APPARENTLY wants its customer to order Foods via their mobile devices.Taco Bell is testing a mobile application that allows customers to book their  an order for food and pay for the meal before even arriving at the fast food chain

The"Mobile app is  currently in a closed beta test at five Orange County, California locations and will be opened up to a larger group of consumers within the next few weeks.

This is how the TACO BELL mobile App will Work
  • When customers arrive at the selected Taco Bell location, they will have the option of using the drive-through or simply walk up a cashier within the fast food restaurant to pick up their order.
  •  Customizing its food based on preferences : The mobile app will store consumer data on the kind of food order.. target them via emails and display ads  and allow  Taco Bell to offer customised menu :
  • The Mobile App will provide a easy interface for  frequent visitors to Taco Bell, the application will save information about your latest orders in order to repeat those orders at a later time.
  • Geo Targeting Customers :The application will track your distance from the selected store using GPS and trigger an alert to Taco Bell employees to start preparing the order once you are within a few minutes of the location on a real time basis

Indonesia's Smartphone Ownership Grew 100% in a year, with 24% penetration

The above chart  compares  the  time taken  for consumer ownership  of Mobile Phones ( Feature Phone) a While it took 5 years for Feature Phones  to reach  84% penetration.from  10%  ( 2008 to 2013).

In Contrast Smartphones Penetration in Indonesia grew by 100%  ( 12% to 24%) in just 2 years

Smartphones are seeing a significant uptick in ownership in Indonesia, according to a study by an Australian market research company  The country has seen a huge rise in smartphone ownership in the last two years 

Between March 2012 and 2013, smartphone ownership doubled from 12% of the population to 24% as mobile phone ownership rose by 10 percentage points, reaching 84% of the population in March 2013.
