The deeper the links are, the higher amount of indexing time the search engine spiders take to index the website, As each website that is crawled by the search spiders has a fixed bandwidth, they aren’t going to spend more time searching for content if its hidden deep, 4 to 5 clicks from the main page . In fact a search engine might totally ignore such a page as the spiders may not find the page and no matter how good the content is.

The Standard SEO advice is keep the site architecture as flat as possible to minimize clicks from the homepage to important content. Do not go off the deep end too, and have a never ending links from the homepage, as too many links on a page are not good for search engines either. A standard recommendation is not to exceed 100 links from a web page as this divides the page rank juice among all the links originating from that page. Google penalty on Controversial health news website called " Natural News" news  continues to draws fierce reactions among webmasters and those who see  a big brother google determined to control political narrative in what it terms as Paid and Fake news.The website is run by Scientologist Mike Adams (self-labeled "The Health Ranger")

Many say that the website has been targeted due to its controversial news content which many term "fake and unscientific".The website has in the past claim to have exposed “strange fibers” found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health “gurus,” dangerous “detox” products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics. The website Natural health is known for popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply.

The  alternative news site mainly focuses on controversial Health , Medicine and science news .The penalty and removing all of its 144,000 pages by Google seems to be drawing fierce reactions across both end of the spectrum due to its delisting by google . The news site confirmed being removed from Google and recently it claimed that Google banned them because the site was pro-Trump and many of its views were against the commonly held “ideologies of the mainstream media websites.

However Google recently explained that a apparent "Google webmaster violation is the reason this website was penalized by Google, not its controversial nature.Meanwhile natural news stuck to its stand that “ its ideologies and editorial narrative was the reason of Google’s clampdown.Meanwhile  John Mueller, a Webmaster Trends Analysts at Google, has now posted on Twitter saying Google did post a message about the penalty in Google Search Console. He also added a thread that the site was penalized due to sneaky mobile redirects. According to Searchengineland John said:

Apple pipped Samsung to emerge as top smartphone vendor in the world with sale of 77038 thousand units compared to  76782 sold by Samsung in the last quarter of 2016 


 
Apple toppled Samsung as the number one global smartphone player with 17.9% marketshare  in last quarter  according to  Gartner . The Q4,2016 October-December quarter of last year  saw a  7 percent year-on-year growth in smartphone sales, with overall sales reaching 432 million smartphone units . However For 2016 overall, smartphone sales  totaled nearly 1.5 billion units, an increase of 5 percent from 2015. 

Last Quarter  saw Samsung finish second with a market share of 17.8 percent, just trailing Apple's 17.9% marketshare .However the difference between Apple and Samsung was too small for comfort with Apple just ahead  by  a marginal  0.1% 

"This is the second consecutive quarter in which Samsung has delivered falling quarterly smartphone sales. Samsung's smartphone sales declined 8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2016 and its share dropped by 2.9 percentage points year on year," 

Samsung's smartphone sales started to drop in the third quarter of 2016, and the decision to discontinue the Galaxy Note 7 slowed down sales of its smartphone portfolio in the fourth quarter, he added. Besides, Samsung is also facing growing competition in the mid-tier and entry-level smartphone segments from Huawei, Oppo, BBK and Gionee, which all saw their sales growing.The chinese invasion included smartphone brands like   Huawei, Oppo and BBK  which accounted for 9.5 percent, 6.2% and 6.2%  of smartphones sold to end users worldwide during the fourth quarter of 2016, respectively.
