Meanwhile a recent Gartner estimates that IoT product and service suppliers will generate incremental revenues exceeding $300 billion in 2020. It predicts that around  4.9 billion connected things will be in use in 2015, up 30 percent from 2014, and will reach 25 billion by 2020

IDC forecasts that the worldwide market for IoT solutions will grow from $1.9 trillion in 2013 to $7.1 trillion in 2020

Gobal tablet sales set to take over as desktop and Pc sales drop . 2015 will see for the first time when tablets sales cross PC sales as users across the world will adopt tablets as their primary device to work. As the rate of BYOD increasing,both small and medium level companies will move over to tablets to bring cross device compatibility across their work environment. 2015 to 2017 will see a brisk adoption of tablets as PC sales drop

 According  to CISCO’s recent paper on Virtual Networking Index prediction and Forecasts, 2019 is set to see huge technological  global ” disruption ” in making as this year the global Internet users would reach 2.1 billion and   the number of  users that are connected  digitally via devices   would cross a gigantic number  of 10.5 billion.

The combined shipments of devices (PCs, tablets, ultramobiles and mobile phones) in India are forecast to total 300 million units in 2015, an increase o

f 4.5 percent over 2014, according to Gartner, “The traditional PC market will grow by 2 percent, with a 9 percent increase in the notebook market in 2015,”

Mobile continues its growth, and  are projected to grow 5 percent in 2015 (see Table ). Lower pricepoints  of smartphones and tablets with their increasing  penetration led by  better functionalities  have led  its high growth segment in the Indian mobile phone market. Global vendors, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, and Nokia, along with local players like Micromax, Karbon, Spice, and Lava are doing well in the smartphone segment.
