Online Price comparison and reviews were the next most important smartphone usages, with 55% saying they would be using their smartphone to read reviews and comparison prices online
45% consumers would be using online coupons to redeem the offer, 43% users would be checking the product via the mobile phones, with 41% ready yo make a purchase via their smartphones.27% would be using it to scan barcode information

Apple iOS 9 adoption rate of 61% is the biggest in history
Apple’s iOS 9 adoption rate has hit all time high with 61% adoption including all of its iOS devices, which include iPhones and iPads, according to Apple’s App Store Distribution page.Till date this has been the fastest adoption rate among all its IOS version .After rolling out on September 16,2015 iOS 9 surged to an adoption rate of more than 50%. In comparison iOS 8 released in september 11th, 2014 had an adoption rate of 43%
This seems more impressive if you consider the adoption rate of its rival Google’s android. The adoption rate for Android 5.0 was at a meager 3% percent and it’s currently at 23.5% based on data from Google’s Android Developer Dashboard.

Number of Tablets released since the last 5 years
The number of tablets released every year has been started to growing by insane numbers . From only 10 tablets released during the whole of 2010, it zoomed up to 50 tablets next year in 2011
In 2012 around 200 tablets were launched., This number went up to 250 in 2013, Finally as the market and consumer preferences starts settling down , the last 2 years 2013 and 2014 has seen a reasonable launch of about 100 to 150 tablets annually
